Relationships: A Love Letter to My Husband

Song of Songs 5:10-16 (Revised)

My husband, you are bright and handsome,

Outstanding among all the men I know.

Your head is round like a gold krugerrand

your remaining hair is straight

dark brown like bear’s fur.

Your eyes are like points of light

Reflections in streams of water

washed in snow,

mounted above like the Big Dipper.

Your cheeks are forest floors

yielding soft fragrance.

Your lips are like strawberries

dipped in chocolate.

Your arms are branches of cedar

inlaid with pine.

Your body is like the trunk of a mighty oak

decorated with polished cherry.

Your legs are I-beams of cast steel

driven deep into the earth.

Your appearance is like the Grand Canyon

altogether unfathomable.

Your mouth is tart sweetness itself;

Like the first bite of key lime pie.

This is my husband, this is my best friend,

O Christian blogging ladies.

Should I be blushing?

I found this topic challenging. How much SHOULD a person say in front of the blogging public?

Thanks e-Mom for you commitment to showing the good in marriage.

I LOVE IT! That is so great! And here I went off in the mush pot with mine....Rob is going to love this!

I'm hitting the road leaving my brother's house to travel home, so I can't wait to sit and read all of the others tonight!

LOVE IT!

e-Mom,

This was a great idea and I had fun writing mine. I am such a visual person that your poem just stirred my mind.

What a great guy you have. I always love Marriage Monday and especially when I read posts like yours that esteem our men.

BIG hugs e-Mom. I love your ministry. I love you. Have a great week.
